RE-GRIPPING

It's advisable for golfers to re-grip their clubs approximately every 40 rounds

Golf Importz takes pride in providing convenient online regripping services. Our team typically completes the installation of your new grips within 24 hours of receiving your clubs.

OUR CURRENT RE-GRIP FEE IS $4.99

Wear and Tear
The wear and tear on your grip accumulate over time due to factors such as rain, sweat, heat, and dirt. Therefore, if you notice your grip feeling smoother, slicker, or observe cracks, it indicates the need for replacement.

Frequency of Play
As a general guideline, we recommend players to replace their club grips annually or after every 40 rounds of play. Grips tend to lose a significant portion of their original feel before golfers become aware of the necessity for replacement, underscoring the importance of adhering to this timeframe.

Performance and Feel
Worn grips not only lead to errant shots but also result in an inclination to grip the clubs tighter than necessary. If you observe a decline in the accuracy of your shots or experience discomfort or increased hand fatigue while playing, it may indicate the need for new grips.

SHAFT WORK

The shafts of your clubs are essential for translating your swing into ball flight

Recognizing when it's time to repair or replace a shaft can revitalize both your club and your game. We're here to guide you through identifying when your club needs shaft work, what the process involves, and how to proceed.

OUR CURRENT SHAFT INSTALL FEE IS $14.99 PER CLUB

Signs Your Shaft Needs Repair

**Visual Damage**
- **Steel Shafts:** Look for dents, bends, or cracks.
- **Graphite Shafts:** Watch for splintering, fraying, or unraveling.

**Unusual Sounds**
- A rattling noise inside the shaft suggests a loose piece, indicating internal damage.

**Performance Issues**
- If your shots become inconsistent without any changes to your swing, it might be a shaft issue.

The Repair Process

**Removing the Old Shaft**
- We carefully detach the old shaft from the clubhead by heating the hosel to melt and loosen the epoxy. The new shaft is then cut to the appropriate length and prepped for installation.

**Attaching the New Shaft and Re-gripping**
- The new shaft is secured to the clubhead with special epoxy. After proper alignment, we allow it to set. We recommend pairing every new shaft installation with new grips.

Repair vs. Replace: What's the Best Option?

Knowing whether to repair or replace a shaft can make a significant difference in your game. We're here to help you make the best decision for your clubs and your performance on the course.

LOFT & LIE

Improve Your Golf Game with Customized Clubs

One of the best ways to enhance your golf game is by finding the perfect club that matches your unique swing. Adjusting your club’s lie and loft angles can significantly improve your performance, and our certified repair technicians are here to help.

Visit your local PGA TOUR Superstore to check and adjust the lie angles and lofts of your clubs before the golf season starts. This ensures you have the consistent distance and control you need on the course.

Cost and Consultation

Adjustment costs vary based on the type of work required. We recommend contacting or visiting your local PGA TOUR Superstore to speak with one of our Associates for accurate pricing information.

Definitions Refresher

**What is Loft?**
- **Definition:** The loft is the angle between the clubface and the ground. It determines the height and distance of the ball.

**What is Lie?**
- **Definition:** The lie is the angle between the shaft and the ground when the club is in its proper address position. The correct lie angle ensures the clubhead is flat on the ground at impact.

Making Adjustments

**Loft Adjustments**
- **Purpose:** Adjusting the loft changes the trajectory and distance of the ball. Increasing the loft results in a higher, shorter flight, while decreasing it results in a lower, longer flight.

- **Process:** Loft adjustments are made by bending the hosel using a specialized machine designed for loft and lie adjustments.

**Lie Adjustments**
- **Purpose:** If the toe of the club is too high at impact, the ball may veer left for right-handed golfers and right for left-handed golfers. Adjusting the lie angle can correct this misalignment.

- **Process:** Like loft adjustments, lie adjustments are made by bending the hosel. Our certified club fitters will measure your swing and stance to determine the correct lie angle for your club.
